West City Crusaders FC Competiton Conditions

At West City Crusaders FC, we strive to create a friendly family atmosphere for all to enjoy - from a social kick around to elite Futsal competitions.

Located in the heart of the Penrith Nepean Football Association, our club offers some of the best Futsal to be played in the state, as well as easy access with plenty of spectator seating & car parking available.

The West City Crusaders FC is affiliated with FIFA through the Football Federation of Australia and the Football NSW Futsal Dept.

At West City Crusaders FC all levels of players & coaches can be found from your local competitions to the elite Premier League, NSW State teams & Australian National Teams, new players & coaches have the opportunity to aspire to greater heights by registering through this great club.

Whatever your needs, we will endevour to make sure your Futsal experience is exciting as well as enjoyable.

Rules:

All matches coordinated by West City Crusaders FC, will be goverened by the rules of the FIFA Laws of Futsal 2007 booklet, and are under jurisdiction of Football NSW Futsal.  Copies of the laws of Futsal are available from the Football NSW Futsal Department.

General Eligibility:

Everbody is welcome to participate in any West City Crusaders FC competition to enjoy the fun & excitement fo the sport of Futsal Indoor Football.  Where possible girls will be permitted to play one year below their age category if competing in a boys competition.

All teams will be required to submit a team list prior to the commencement of the competition.  Teams may add players to their team list at any time during the competition.  A player must have played four rounds to be eligible to participate in the finals series.  Teams may only field players named on their team list, if any team fields an ulisted player during a match then the team will automatically lose the points from that match.

Format of Competition:

The competition will be staged as a round robin format followed by finals series for each catagory.  The Club reserves the right to combine or cancel categories where insufficient entries are received, as a general rule a minimum of (4) entries shall constitue a category.

Game Fees:

  • Mini        $35.00 per team
  • Juniors    $45.00 per team
  • Seniors   $55.00 per team

Bonds:

All senior teams will be required to submitt a 3 game bond, bonds will be refundable at the end of the competition.

Forfeits:

Teams must be present at the time indicated on their draw, if a team has less than four (4) registered players ready to play at their scheluded kick off time, their match will be declared a forfeit, losing that match 6-0, teams that fail to notify their administrator forty eight (48) hours prior to a forfeit will be liable for a double match fee, NO EXCEPTIONS, (their match fees and the oppositions match fees), it should also be noted that teams that pull out of the competition prior to the completion will be liable for the remaining match fees missed as per their draw, this could deem all players unfinancial in both indoor futsal and outdoor football.

Competition Points:

During competition, points will be awarded as follows:-

  • Win                          (4)     Four points
  • Scored Draw             (3)     Three points
  • Scoreless Draw         (2)     Two points
  • Loss                         (1)     One point

Period of play:

All matches will be played in equal halves of (12) twelve minutes for U6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 & 14 year old age group.  (14) Fourteen minute halves for U15 & 16 year old age groups. (18) Eighteen minute halves for Seniors with a (2) Two minute half time break for all matches, there are no time outs for any matches.

Uniform Requirements:

The Futsal Laws of the game state the uniform requirements are to be of identical matching shirts (with non-duplicated numbers), shorts and socks, shin pads are compulsory and shall be covered by socks, shirts shall be tucked into shorts at all times, players shall wear non-marking footwear.  

STRICTLY NO JEWELLERY.

Injury Prevention & Insurance:

It is the responsibility of every player to ensure that they are adequately prepared for their game of Futsal, it is also the responsibility of each player to ensure that they take adequate care to prevent injury to themselves or other players and/or officials during the course of a match.

Players registered with the West City Crusaders FC through Football NSW Futsal will be covered by sports cover accident insurance in the unlikely case of serious injury sustained during a match.

The Referee is the sole judge of interpretation of the laws of the game including, but not limited to, rulings on items, which may be considered dangerous, this includes items such as jewellery, (studs & chains) medical casts or strapping, eyewear, hair pins & clips.
